VISION (विज़न )
OUR VISION IS TO CONTRIBUTE TO A SOCIETY WHERE SUICIDE IS UNDERSTOOD BOTH LOCALLY AND GLOBALLY LEADING TO FEWER DEATHS BY SUICIDE .
CHARTER (चार्टर )
1. Centre Provides emotional support to people who are suicidal, or in general distress.
2. Confidentiality is respected.
3. Centres are Non-Political and Non-sectarian and volunteers do not seek to impose their own conviction on anyone.
4. Where appropriate, Callers may be invited to consider seeking Professional help in addition to the emotional support offered by the centre .
5. Centre are mainly resourced by volunteers.
6. Volunteers are selected, trained, mentored and supported by other experienced volunteers and any relevant professional experts.
7. Centres are mutually supportive and committed to sharing information with other member centres, and participating in processes and activities of the network .

We aim to provide voluntary, professional and essentially confidential care and support to the depressed & the suicidal .
Life is a war. Doctors fight disease. Lawyers fight injustice. Teachers fight ignorance. JEEVAN fights to prevent suicide.
